Solar Features

How Solar Works

Solar energy is radiant light and heat from the Sun that is harnessed using various technologies, such as photovoltaics, solar thermal energy, solar architecture, and artificial photosynthesis. It is a renewable and sustainable source of energy that holds immense potential for addressing our global energy needs while minimizing environmental impact.

Photovoltaic (PV) technology converts sunlight directly into electricity using solar cells made of semiconductor materials, such as silicon. These cells absorb photons from sunlight, creating an electric current through the photovoltaic effect. Solar panels are made up of numerous PV cells, are used to capture sunlight and generate electricity for both residential and commercial applications.
